Last Thursday our brand new Aloha edition hit newsagent
stands! What a relief it was to get this issue out, after a hectic
few months (holiday in the US, followed closely by moving
apartments), it was nice to see this one done and dusted. So
much work goes into each and every issue and as a one-man-
band it can be overwhelming at times. Thankfully I have amazing
freelancers who help out with the writing, styling and photography
in each issue. You could say this issue was heavily influenced by
my time in Hawaii, in fact you can read all about my thoroughly
modern escape from page 74! We have a number of boutique
stores stocking the magazine (click here for the list), as well
as newsagents right across Australia (click here for the list -
I've listed according to suburb in alphabetical order to make
it easier for you to find your nearest newsagent). Below is a
small taste of what to expect in this issue. I hope you're able
to purchase a copy (click here to buy from our online store)!

For tropi-cool pool styling ideas, you must check out our
feature showcasing Lana Taylor's new pool area (you
may recognise Lana from Three Birds Renovations).

This Santa Monica home with a coastal/boho feel is another
highlight in this issue. Designed by Amber Interiors, the crisp
white spaces punctuated by indigo blues will have you swooning.

One thing that comes to mind when thinking of Hawaii,
is their beautiful lush green vegetation, and for this reason
I chose to profile Terrace Outdoor Living's Sydney store, in
this Aloha edition. A little bit of green can go a long way in a
home, and Terrace make it super easy to inject a bit of lush
tropical panache to your indoor and outdoor spaces.

This home designed by Showpony Interiors is another
standout. Their outdoor space is so lush – it will make you
green with envy. I also loved their contemporary furniture
choices, proving a home by the sea can still be clean and crisp
without the traditional notions of what a coastal home
should look like. Their living room is stunning right?!
